Duties
  • Assist in evaluating and assessing publication content for compliance with the EP Code of Conduct and quality standards
  • Establish and maintain high standards of quality in publication content
  • Manage & supervise associate editors
  • Collaborate closely with and report


Qualifications

The incumbent should have

  • a PhD in the relevant area
  • an OrCID reference
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • an in-depth knowledge of and experience in Finance and/or Economics
  • a strong research background with published works
  • skills in operating computer software systems
  • strong organizational and excellent motivational skills
  • a keen eye for detail, and
  • excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask

Associate Editors

Duties

  • Work in collaboration with the Editor-in-chief to ensure the standards and Code of Conduct of EP are met
  • Ensure that the content, language and mechanics of submitted papers meet EP’s standards
  • Communicate with other associate editors if required
  • Strictly maintain the editorial timelines set by the Journal Publishing Manager to ensure timeliness of the publications


Qualifications
