CORE TEAM



Our core team reflects our core strengths which lie in our diversity. With members from six different countries, the team pools together our separate strengths to create a strong base of unstinting service to our collaborating partner institutions and authors.



Ceren Etci, MBA, FCCA Associate Fellow Chartered Accountant

Ceren had been an integral part of the original team since the time the company was established. As EP’s Managing Director and Financial Accounting Manager, she collaborates directly with the Head of the organisation. Ceren has more than 15 years’ experience as an accountant and in finance department managerial positions.



Melis Y. Minas

Melis joined EP in October 2013. As EP’s Associate Journal Publishing Manager, her responsibilities include management of the production process to meet agreed standards and deadlines. She is also responsible for editorial assistants’ workloads as well as training and development. Her portfolio also includes keeping updated with the current developments in the scholarly publishing landscape specifically open access. Her outstanding publishing work has resulted in more than 1.200 academic papers getting successfully indexed by ISI Web of Science Clarivate Analytics (CPCI).



Roslind X. Thambusamy

Roslind joined the organization in August 2015. As EP’s Senior Content Quality Specialist, her responsibilities include reviewing the publication content to verify that the publications’ standards of quality for language and other considerations are met. This includes the content of the papers submitted for consideration in the European Journal of Social and Behavioural Sciences EJSBS, EP books as well as other publications associated with EP. She also assists in other editorial tasks related to EP documentation and processes. She has assisted in editing several volumes of publications which have been successfully indexed in ISI Web of Science Clarivate Analytics (CPCI). She has authored/co-authored several papers and has experience in organizing conferences. She has close to 40 years’ experience as an instructor in higher education institutions specialising in Education, TESL and English Literature. Her research interests are in teaching and learning in higher education and graduate employability.



Bahire Akarturk

Bahire joined EP in March 2018. As EP’s Production Editorial Assistant, she is responsible for implementing best publishing practices. As EP’s Production Editorial Assistant, her responsibilities cover reviewing and editing papers submitted for publication in EP’s Journals and Conference Proceedings series as well as working in close collaboration with the editors to provide information about the publication process. Part of her responsibilities include evaluating the originality reports for the submitted papers.



Giorgos Triantafillou

Giorgos joined EP in October 2018. As EP’s Production Editorial Assistant, he is responsible for implementing best publishing practices. As EP’s Production Editorial Assistant, his responsibilities cover reviewing and editing papers submitted for publication in EP’s Journals and Conference Proceedings series as well as working in close collaboration with the editors to provide information about the publication process. Part of his responsibilities include evaluating the originality reports for the submitted papers.



Mohamed Khalil

Mohamed joined EP in February 2018. He is a talented Software Developer with 11 years’ experience in the software field with a focus on publishing processes. As EP’s Data Administrator, he is responsible for delivering metadata, for use in a variety of online services such as CLOCKSS archiving.



Ezgin Akpınar

Ezgin joined EP in September 2020. As EP’s Production Editorial Assistant, he is responsible for implementing best publishing practices. Veronika Chernova

Veronika joined EP in December 2020. As EP’s Sales Consultant, she works directly with external clients. She is responsible for developing and maintaining communication with clients and providing assistance regarding prepublication issues. Veronika has a number of scientific publications to her name and has participated in scientific conferences and colloquia devoted to education and social science.
