Copyright and Licensing

European Publisher (EP) is committed to Open Access (OA) publishing for our entire stable of publications in order to facilitate the rapid development of all research areas and make scientific works available and accessible for everyone to read without financial, legal, or technical constraints.

EP publishes all articles under Creative Commons Licenses and use either CC BY or CC BY-NC-ND licenses.

What is a Creative Commons License?

Creative Commons licenses provide an easy way to manage the copyright terms that attach automatically to all creative material under copyright. Our licenses allow that material to be shared and reused under terms that are flexible and legally sound. Creative Commons offers a core suite of six copyright licenses.

CC BY

https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/

https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode

This license is the most permissive among the other six licenses. It allows unlimited free access to and reuse of original works without the need to request for permission or pay a fee to the publisher. As long as due credit is given to the authors, the manuscripts may be reused in any format even commercially.

CC BY-NC-ND

https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/

https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/legalcode

This license is the most restictive one which allows for unlimited free access to and reuse of original works without the need to request for permission or pay a fee to the publisher. As long as due credit is given to the authors, the manuscripts may be reused in any format except for commercial purposes.
